How does my donation help STELLAA deliver literacy and education to Africa in an effort to end poverty?

$5 - Sends 2 dozen (24) books to Africa, that will be read by a community

$10 - Sends a Tools4Schools box to Africa to be used by an entire classroom, providing the tools to learn to read and write

$25 - Sends 115 books to Africa

$50 - Sends 250 books to Africa and completes a 1/6 of one library collection

$100 - Sends 10 Tools4Teaching boxes to teachers in Africa

$500 - Will furnish a classroom in a STELLAA library/education centre in Africa

Your donation goes directly to the work we do and not our overhead costs.

In-kind donations of books, software, school furniture, computers, and services are critical to STELLAA's success in providing literacy and education resources to communities in Sub-Saharan Africa. >Matching Gift: Run a Corporate Book Drive and ask your employer to donate $1 (or more) for every book that is donated during the drive.

>Event Sponsorships: Make your next event, holiday party, or company gathering, inspirational and meaningful. Companies benefit from strong company culture. By holding an event in dedication to STELLAA, you will foster teamwork and a sense of family amongst your attendees. You will bring something extra to the table. >Cause-Marketing Promotions: Your company can work with STELLAA to improve your PR, increase sales, and enhance brand loyalty, by donating a percentagfe of your company's product revenues to STELLAA. We want to ensure that the partnership is strategic and mutually agreeable for both parties, and therefore, STELLAA will require that an agreement is signed that grants permission for the use of our name and logo. >Participate in our Global Action Week "Loonies for Literacy" Campaign: May 2-8, 2011, is Global Action Week. Motivate your company, your customers, and your community to take action in the fight against Global Illiteracy. This campaign is especially designed for retail, and allows your company to request $1 donations to STELLAA from your customers, while promoting your Global Act. >Donate a video camera for our Local Literacy Awareness Campaign: STELLAA aims to promote global citizenship, environmental responsibility, and global literacy to local schools through an Awareness Seminar. The Awareness Seminar will teach the children in Ontario the current literacy pandemic in Sub-Saharan Africa, while motivating them to Act Now! and make a difference. Ontario schools will be informed of volunteer opportunities that are currently available to students as well as other ways that they can participate to build their skill set(s) and resumes for future success. One facet of our Awareness Seminar is our yearly video contest, which encourages students to use their creativity, interpersonal and technology skills to put together a 30-60sec video on a chosen topic. The winning school will win the video camera donate by you!

>Sponsor a Project: Libraries are vital to a developing community's path out of poverty. STELLAA libraries not only encourage the habit of reading amoung children, but aslo an educational resource facility that provides knowledge for the development of new skills. In turn, the communities can work together to better their lives and the lives of their children. At STELLAA it is important that adults are also given the opportunity to develop their literacy skills. It is never too late to learn.

With a generous donation of $25,000, you will have the opportunity to dedicate a newly constructed library in a participating Sub-Saharan country, empowering thousands of people to realize their potential to make a change. A plaque with the dedication language of your choosing will be placed in entrance of the library. To keep you updated on the community we partnered with to establish the library, our progress, and photos of the STELLAA library (with your plaque), you will receive detailed reports and an annual update about the impact you made in the chosen community.

Our gratitude for your generousity does not stop there. We will share our partnership and success in our Annual Report and additional marketing publications, on our website and through our social media channels.
