Champions on the Mat: Harvard Wrestling Dominates in an Unforgettable 2022-23 Season

After months characterized by podium wins, major upsets, and long-awaited results, Harvard wrestling has wrapped up a remarkable 2022-23 season. The season took place across five winter months, opening in November with the Journeymen Collegiate Classic in Bethlehem, Pa.,  and culminating in mid-March with the NCAA Championships in Tulsa, Okla.

Kicking off the weekend with two decisive doubleheader wins against Virginia Tech and local rival Boston University, the Crimson appeared undefeatable. This weekend, the No. 13 Harvard men’s tennis team put on a show in Cambridge, Mass. welcoming ACC foes No. 75 Virginia Tech and defending national champion No. 8 Virginia, alongside Boston University, for a three-day matchup at the Beren Tennis Center.
