10th Annual Halton Eco Festival
When: Saturday, April 17, 2010 from 10am to 5pm and Sunday, April 18, 2010 from 11am to 4pm.
Where: Glen Abbey Community Centre, 1415 Third Line, Oakville, ON L6M 3G2
What: STELLAA will be collecting new and used books at this Earth Week Fair Promoting Sustainable Living. Visit our booth for more opportunities to help.
Why: To support STELLAA efforts to help enlighten and educate the people of Africa. All proceeds from this event will allow STELLAA to send shipments of new and used books to Africa and build our first library and education center, helping a population of over 2 million.

National Bank Financial (Burnhampthorpe) Sees Great Success in Literacy Meets Green Book Drive!
The staff and colleagues of National Bank Financial (Burnhampthorpe) collected over 1000 books during its first annual STELLAA "Literacy Meets Green" Book Drive. We would like to thank all donors for their efforts to make the book drive successful, and hope for ongoing support from National Bank Financial (Burnhampthorpe).
STELLAA Sends first Shipment of Books to Africa!
Thanks to a generous donation of used books from the Hamilton Public Libraries along with many of our past donors, STELLAA has sent its first 40ft container of books to Nigeria!
Literacy Meets Green Book Drive Kicks-off the Holiday Season!
National Bank Financial(Burnhamthorpe, Mississauga) is supporting STELLAA's efforts to increase environmental responsibility by collecting new and used books as part of our Book Drive Initiative.
Sibley International Head Office (Burlington) will kick-off their 2nd Annual Literacy Meets Green Book Drive to strengthen the company's green initiatives while supporting the work of STELLAA.

Book Chain Challenge Promoting Literacy Awareness
Have a book that impacted your life in some way, small or big? August is the month to pass it forward! Give it to someone that you think it will impact. Education Week 2009: April 28th to May 8th
York Catholic District School Board is participating in our Student Book Drive! Thank you to all the students and faculty for their assistance and donations! We look forward to continuing this initiative yearly and expanding to other programs that promote literacy!
March 2009: Brock University, ACE, St.Catherine's New partnership! ACE has been very successful in running a Business Faculty book drive. Thank you to all the generous donations and the support of Brock ACE. We accepted a donation of over 700 books! We look forward to building a stronger relationship with ACE Worldwide.
March 2009: St. Clare of Assisi Parish, Vaughan Thank you to the parishioners of St. Clare of Assisi for their kind donations adding up to over 1000 books for children and adults.
June 2008: Large Book Donation Presented by Ryerson Polytechnic University! A great Thank You goes out to the Used Book Room at Ryerson University, Toronto, Ontario. In June 2008, STELLAA accepted a donation of over 800 books.
We've received great support from many YCDSB schools including St. Joseph's Children's Academy, Father Bressani CHS, St. Joan of Arc, and Blessed Trinity! Thank you for donating over 3000 books!
