Logan Ip's Journey Representing Hong Kong at the 2023 World Lacrosse Championship
Very few athletes have the opportunity to represent their country. Even fewer have this chance in lacrosse. Not yet recognized by the Olympic Committee despite its title as the one of the fastest growing sports in the world, lacrosse has had to make do with its own version of an Olympic battle: The World Games. For Harvard men's lacrosse standout Logan Ip, the chance to compete for Hong Kong was a once in a lifetime opportunity.

Harvard Men's Lacrosse Hosts Charity Burrito Bowl with Team IMPACT
For the past three seasons the Harvard men’s lacrosse team has partnered with Team IMPACT, a Boston based organization that pairs kids with serious illness and disability with college sports teams. In order to draw awareness to the program, the squad decided to make its fall intra-team scrimmage, known as The Burrito Bowl, a Team IMPACT Awareness game. By doing so last season, the team was able to surpass its fundraising goal by almost 300%.

Showing grit and determination throughout a highly-anticipated season, first-year attackman Teddy Malone made an instant impact on the Harvard men’s lacrosse team.
Seeing Red: Harvard Men's Lacrosse's 10-8 Comeback over Cornell, the Game of the Year
The Harvard men’s lacrosse team pulled off a comeback victory against No. 4 Cornell that altered the trajectory of its season, put it back in contention for a spot in the Ivy Tournament, and proved that despite not performing to the same level as last year, that the team did indeed deserve to be lauded amongst the other top schools in the nation.

The Harvard men's lacrosse team runs to its goalie, junior Christian Barnard, who made a career-high of 16 saves in net. In a highly anticipated game, the Crimson upset Cornell 10-8.

In Tough Ending, Harvard Men's Lacrosse Falls to Yale, Ending 2022-23 Season
In a season that was highly touted by the lacrosse community as being a breakout for the Harvard men’s lacrosse team, the young squad finished decisively lower in the ranking than was expected. Despite building on the young team led by mostly first-years in the 2022 season, the Crimson was unable to make a repeat NCAA tournament appearance.
Long Live the King
Sophomore Sam King tussles for the ball with a Bulldog in a season-ending matchup against Yale on Apr. 29. Though King scored its 100th point of the season, the offensive effort couldn't stop Yale, who beat Harvard 14-11.
Loring Me In
Senior Nick Loring cradles the ball in Harvard's last game of its 2022-23 season against Yale. Despite a comeback in the fourth quarter, the Crimson was not able to score enough on the Bulldogs, losing 14-11.
Harvard Fails to Pull Off Another Ivy Upset, Loses to Penn 15-9
Despite coming back from a three goal deficit to end the first half tied 5-5, a game that appeared to at first parallel the squad’s three-goal-down comeback against No. 4 Cornell, the Crimson squad was unable to pull off a second consecutive underdog victory, falling to the No. 18 Penn Quakers 15-9. Despite Harvard’s ability to even the score, the Quakers created a definitive four-goal lead in the third quarter that ultimately set the tone for the rest of play. The next two games against RV/No. 20 Princeton and RV/No. 19 Yale will be critical in determining Harvard’s fate in securing a place in the Ivy and NCAA Tournaments.

The Sweet Taste of Victory: Harvard Men's Lacrosse Upsets Cornell, 10-8
Raucous cheers erupted from the 2,455 spectators around Jordan Field Saturday afternoon as the Harvard men’s lacrosse team defended its home turf against No. 4 Cornell in a huge 10-8 upset. The underdog team played lockdown defense and the stellar performance was not lost on viewers as the win resulted in a sweep of the weekly Ivy League honors.

Harvard Men’s Lacrosse Breaks Losing Streak with 14-10 Win Over Colgate
The Harvard men’s lacrosse team bounced back from a disappointing week of performances with a win against Colgate on Saturday, breaking its two-game losing streak. The team looked much more confident against the Raiders, building a decisive lead through the first three quarters of play.
Back to the Drawing Board: Harvard's Men's Lacrosse Squad Struggles to Find Success
The Harvard men's lacrosse team suffered two losses this past week: the first to Charles River rival Boston University and the second to Ivy League compatriot Dartmouth. Both games were monumental for the record book as the win on Tuesday marked BU’s first upset over the Crimson since 2017 and the win on Saturday marked Dartmouth’s first victory in the Ivy League since 2015; the game broke a 35-game drought for the Big Green within the competitive league.
